QA Engineer
Senior Automation Engineer responsible for maintaining and enhancing manufacturing automation systems, leveraging PLC programming, SCADA, robotics integration, and reliability engineering to improve production efficiency and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems across multiple production lines.
- Integrate new robotic and automated equipment, ensuring seamless communication with existing control architecture.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support process changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in PLC programming and SCADA.
- Proficiency in robotics integration and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA).
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of improving equipment reliability.
- Experience with scripting (Python or similar) for data collection and automation tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
