Software Engineer
Lead the design, maintenance, and upgrade of control systems for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring reliable operation, compliance, and continuous improvement using PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain PLC and SCADA control systems for manufacturing and utilities.
- Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and vendors on system upgrades and new installations.
- Document control system specifications, change orders, and compliance records.
- Support validation, qualification, and regulatory audits of control systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automation controls within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or equivalent) and SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, process control, and safety instrumented systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with validation, qualification, and regulatory documentation (GMP/GxP).
