Senior engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing audio DSP firmware, Linux drivers, and middleware to deliver high‑quality sound experiences on next‑generation consumer devices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop DSP firmware and Linux audio drivers for new consumer hardware platforms.
- Implement and fine‑tune audio processing algorithms, including echo cancellation, noise reduction, and spatial audio.
- Integrate audio middleware and ensure seamless interaction with system‑level services and hardware components.
- Perform performance profiling, debugging, and triage of audio issues across the full stack.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams to define audio requirements and validate implementations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in C++ and low‑level audio software development.
- Strong background in DSP firmware, real‑time embedded systems, and Linux kernel driver development.
- Deep understanding of audio signal processing techniques such as filtering, beamforming, and codec integration.
- Proficiency with debugging tools, performance analysis, and hardware bring‑up for audio subsystems.
