About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and analysis of water treatment, pumping and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
- Develop and review detailed schematics, load calculations and protection coordination using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions into overall project plans and schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Prepare and present technical reports, cost estimates and feasibility studies to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in water infrastructure electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong knowledge of power system protection, grounding, and regulatory compliance (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Excellent communication, project management and leadership skills.
