About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day security platform operations, ensuring continuous performance and availability monitoring across critical systems.
- Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents using advanced log monitoring and SIEM tools, escalating as needed.
- Produce detailed security event reports and root‑cause analyses to inform stakeholders and improve defenses.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on problem resolution, best practices, and career development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into new deployments and infrastructure changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security operations or platform engineering.
- Proficiency with log management, SIEM, and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex security incidents.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of mentoring.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
