About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and optimize 5G and LTE network architectures for defense missions, ensuring coverage, capacity, and reliability across complex environments.
- Conduct RF propagation analysis, interference studies, and spectrum planning using industry tools and custom scripts.
- Develop and maintain simulation models and data pipelines in Python and MATLAB to support network performance forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (systems engineering, cybersecurity, and field operations) to integrate network solutions into larger defense platforms.
- Document design decisions, produce technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cellular network planning, RF engineering, or related domains.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data‑driven optimization and performance modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, mission‑critical environment.
