Senior Associate – Data Governance Engineer responsible for designing and executing metadata cataloging, lineage harvesting, governance workflows, and data quality initiatives for unstructured data using Atlan and related platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement metadata cataloging solutions for large-scale unstructured data assets.
- Harvest and maintain data lineage across diverse data sources to ensure traceability.
- Develop and manage governance workflows that enforce data policies and compliance.
- Lead data quality initiatives, establishing metrics, monitoring, and remediation processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to align governance practices with enterprise objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Hands‑on expertise with Atlan or equivalent data catalog platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
