Software Engineer
Senior Assistant in Financial Planning & Analysis driving data‑driven insights and financial models using Python, SQL, Excel and Power BI within an Agile FP&A environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards in Excel and Power BI to support executive decision‑making.
- Extract, transform and load data from enterprise systems using SQL and Python scripts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, refine processes and deliver actionable insights.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document model logic, assumptions and methodology to enable knowledge transfer and audit compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis or related finance roles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA) and Power BI.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and collaborative tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
