About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning algorithms for tabular data, focusing on scalability and interpretability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data pipelines and model specifications.
- Conduct experiments, perform rigorous statistical analysis, and iterate on model performance using Python‑based frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Mentor junior scientists and engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, reproducibility, and model monitoring.
- Publish research findings internally and contribute to open‑source initiatives that advance the organization’s ML capabilities.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade machine‑learning models for tabular data.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and evaluation metrics for structured data.
- Experience with SQL and data‑pipeline tools; familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
