ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced machine‑learning models to optimize pricing, claims processing, and customer experience for a leading automotive insurer, leveraging Python, AI techniques, and data‑analytics pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and production‑grade machine‑learning models to support pricing, risk assessment, and claims automation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature stores using SQL and Python.
- Conduct rigorous model validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years of applied ML experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end model deployment and monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
