About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable optimization and machine learning models for jurisdiction planning, delivery channel selection, and capacity planning across global delivery networks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with operational goals and cost targets.
- Leverage AWS services and big‑data tools to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of delivery and logistics data.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and performance evaluation to validate model effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and technical documentation.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS analytics services (SageMaker, Redshift, EMR).
- Strong background in optimization techniques (linear programming, integer programming, stochastic optimization) and machine learning algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to build end‑to‑end data pipelines and deploy models at scale.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
