About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deploy machine learning models that drive real‑time manufacturing flow decisions across large‑scale production lines.
- Integrate state‑of‑the‑art optimization algorithms with AI to create adaptive production control systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Evaluate and benchmark new ML and optimization techniques against representative manufacturing scenarios.
- Publish findings and contribute to open‑source or internal toolkits that support the broader robotics and AI community.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with strong ML focus.
- 5+ years of experience building production‑grade ML systems, preferably in manufacturing or robotics.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and optimization libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with large‑scale distributed computing (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing research or delivering impactful technical solutions.
