Software Engineer
Senior Application Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the FLITES system, a modern Item Master data platform, leveraging Java, SQL, RESTful services, and AWS infrastructure within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core components of the FLITES Item Master data platform using Java and SQL.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with existing logistics and provisioning systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile setting to deliver incremental features and enhancements.
- Utilize AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) for scalable deployment and data storage.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high quality and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise logistics or supply‑chain domains.
- Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and REST API design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
