About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Appian applications that support clinical, administrative, and research processes.
- Lead technical architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into robust BPM solutions, and deliver iterative releases.
- Integrate Appian with external systems (EHR, HL7, REST, SOAP) using Java, SQL, and middleware.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in Agile development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Appian development with strong Java and SQL skills.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise‑grade BPM solutions in regulated environments.
- Experience with RESTful services, HL7, and healthcare data standards.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
