About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship robust Android features that enhance shopper activation and engagement.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
- Implement MVVM architecture with Jetpack components, ensuring clean separation of concerns and high test coverage.
- Write comprehensive unit and UI tests, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption for a seamless user experience.
- Stay current with Android ecosystem trends, proposing and adopting best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Deep understanding of Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, WorkManager).
- Proven track record of delivering production‑ready apps on Google Play.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance profiling.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for building delightful mobile experiences.
