Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and analytical solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Tableau to enable data‑driven decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines on Snowflake using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
- Build and optimize interactive dashboards and visualisations in Tableau to surface actionable insights.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and governance frameworks to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices for data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL, with hands‑on experience on Snowflake.
- Expertise in dbt for data transformation and Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Proven ability to create compelling Tableau dashboards and visualisations.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
