Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and analytical models using Python, SQL, and BigQuery, driving insights for a high‑traffic digital identity platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in Python and Airflow to ingest, transform, and load data into BigQuery.
- Design and optimize data models and schemas that support advanced analytics and reporting for a multi‑tenant digital identity platform.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high data integrity and availability.
- Document data workflows, metadata, and best practices for internal use and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL design, and workflow orchestration (Airflow or equivalent).
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
