Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a centralized data warehouse.
- Leverage Python and SQL to build reusable data transformation modules, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Implement workflow orchestration with Airflow, monitoring job health, scheduling, and alerting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize data models and queries for speed and cost efficiency, and enforce data quality standards through automated testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL/ELT processes.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Hands‑on experience with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Airflow.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
