About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load large volumes of data into cloud data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and analytics solutions.
- Implement and optimize data workflows using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and automated alerting.
- Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to build cost‑effective, high‑performance data infrastructure.
- Write efficient, maintainable Python and SQL code, applying best practices for performance and security.
- Document data architecture, pipeline logic, and troubleshooting procedures for cross‑team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an analytics or data engineer in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and cloud data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building clean, scalable data solutions.
