Lead system engineering for legacy and next‑generation Airport Traffic Control programs, driving requirements, integration, testing, and acceptance while coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering activities for legacy and next‑generation ATC programs, ensuring alignment with customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, functional specifications, and integration plans across multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate design reviews, integration testing, and acceptance activities, documenting outcomes and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal and subcontracted partners to deliver integrated solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or defense environments, preferably with ATC or air traffic management systems.
- Strong background in requirements analysis, system architecture, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, cross‑functional team setting.
