About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large retail and workforce datasets to uncover trends that influence sales, inventory, and staffing strategies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Build predictive models and statistical analyses in Python to forecast demand, customer behavior, and operational performance.
- Partner with eCommerce, merchandising, and HR teams to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions.
- Document analytical methodologies, ensure data quality, and support continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence within retail or a related industry.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit‑learn.
- Expertise in Tableau (or comparable BI tools) for creating dashboards and visual storytelling.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and ability to apply them to real‑world business problems.
