About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for aerospace hardware and software systems.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance testing, analyzing results to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams in Agile sprints to define test requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain and update configuration management and requirements traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Git) to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in test automation, data analysis, and quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for developing test scripts and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Experience with aerospace or defense standards (e.g., MIL‑STD, DO‑178) and a solid understanding of quality assurance processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
