Senior analyst responsible for overseeing data management and classification initiatives, building governance frameworks, and delivering analytical solutions using SQL and Python to ensure data quality and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data classification schemas and metadata standards across enterprise data assets.
- Develop and maintain data governance processes to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets for business insights.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, resolve data issues, and support data‑driven decision making.
- Produce documentation, dashboards, and reports that communicate data lineage, classification results, and governance metrics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data management, data classification, or data governance roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices for data classification.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and partner with stakeholders across the organization.
