About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and model financial performance of complex media contracts, identifying cost drivers and revenue opportunities.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Excel dashboards to track contract metrics and forecast financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with legal, sales, and content teams to negotiate terms, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline contract data capture, reporting processes, and analytical workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within media, entertainment, or related industry.
- Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), and financial modeling techniques.
- Strong understanding of media contract structures, revenue recognition, and cost allocation.
