Data Scientist
Lead advanced analytics for a digital mind‑health provider, building predictive models, data pipelines, and dashboards to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency using Python, ML, SQL and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and ETL processes in AWS to support clinical and operational analytics.
- Build and validate machine‑learning models to predict treatment outcomes, resource utilisation and patient risk profiles.
- Collaborate with clinicians, product and engineering teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualisations (Tableau/Power BI) to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with NHS and CQC regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics within a healthcare or regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, SageMaker).
- Strong statistical background and experience with supervised/unsupervised learning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with data governance, privacy and security best practices in a healthcare setting.
