Senior Data Protection Analyst responsible for ensuring privacy compliance, conducting risk assessments, and implementing data governance frameworks using SQL, Python, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain privacy programs aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk analyses for new and existing systems.
- Design, implement, and monitor data governance policies, data classification, and retention schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to embed privacy controls into cloud (AWS) and on‑premise environments.
- Generate compliance reports, audit evidence, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy, information security, or related compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in SQL for data discovery and Python for automation of privacy workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and implementing privacy controls in cloud services.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
