Senior Data Engineering Analyst responsible for designing, building, and optimizing end‑to‑end data pipelines using SQL and Python, with a focus on ETL processes and cloud‑based data infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines that ingest data from multiple source systems.
- Write efficient, production‑grade SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and validation.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data sets.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability.
- Participate in the migration and integration of data workloads to cloud platforms, applying best practices for security and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in a production environment.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and concepts such as storage, compute, and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing principles.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate technical concepts clearly to cross‑functional teams.
