Software Engineer
Senior Cyber Security Analyst responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating technology and product risk across financial services, leveraging vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response and compliance frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks across technology platforms, financial products, and services.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and threat modeling to uncover weaknesses and recommend remediation.
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools, investigate alerts, and lead incident response activities.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, risk treatment plans, and compliance documentation aligned with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR).
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk management teams to embed security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information security, risk analysis, or related fields within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus) and security monitoring platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and ability to translate requirements into actionable security controls.
- Hands‑on experience in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and remediation coordination.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
