Software Engineer
Senior analyst responsible for building financial models, analyzing capital projects, and delivering data‑driven insights to guide liquidity and investment decisions using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate capital projects, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Analyze capital allocation effectiveness, liquidity trends, and return on investment across the enterprise.
- Prepare and present regular performance dashboards and ad‑hoc reports using Power BI and Excel for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and business unit teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure model accuracy.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles with scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, capital budgeting, or corporate finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and strong SQL query skills.
- Experience building interactive visualizations and dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions.
