Senior AI/ML Engineer - Goodyear
ML Engineer
Lead design, development, and deployment of production‑grade machine learning and computer vision solutions for predictive analytics and condition monitoring in tire manufacturing, using physics‑informed models and cloud‑native infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship production‑ready ML models for predictive analytics and condition monitoring across tire products and manufacturing processes.
- Integrate physics‑informed and hybrid physics‑ML techniques to embed domain knowledge directly into model architectures, ensuring physically consistent predictions.
- Develop computer‑vision pipelines for image‑based inspection, defect classification, and quality assurance.
- Build, orchestrate, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest high‑frequency sensor streams and serve data to downstream models.
- Containerize applications and deploy them on cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing and productionizing ML models, preferably with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong background in physics‑informed or hybrid modeling approaches applied to engineering domains.
- Proficiency in computer‑vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, Detectron2) and experience with image‑based inspection systems.
- Expertise in building data pipelines and working with high‑frequency sensor data (e.g., time‑series, streaming platforms).
- Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
