Senior AI Scientist - HUK COBURG

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for pricing, risk assessment, and claims automation.
• Collaborate with data engineers to curate large, high‑quality datasets and ensure robust feature engineering.
• Experiment with state‑of‑the‑art deep learning architectures (e.g., transformers, graph neural networks) to solve complex insurance problems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions and present findings to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Maintain model governance, monitor performance, and iterate on models in production using AWS services.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years of AI/ML experience.
• Proven track record of deploying production‑grade models in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, feature selection, and model interpretability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile, cross‑functional team.
