Security Engineer
Lead the security architecture and implementation for AI platforms, ensuring robust protection of data pipelines, models, and cloud infrastructure using Python, Kubernetes, and modern DevSecOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for AI/ML pipelines, model serving, and data storage across cloud environments.
- Integrate security testing and hardening into CI/CD pipelines for containerized AI workloads.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis specific to AI platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams to embed security by design.
- Develop automated monitoring, incident response, and remediation processes for AI services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience securing cloud‑native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on AI/ML workloads.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container security tools, and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
- Deep knowledge of security standards, encryption, identity & access management, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Proven ability to perform threat modeling, code reviews, and security audits for complex, data‑intensive applications.
