Security Engineer
Lead security for AI platforms, ensuring robust protection of ML models and data across AWS environments using Python, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for AI/ML pipelines on AWS, including data encryption, access management, and threat detection.
- Integrate security into CI/CD workflows, automating vulnerability scanning and compliance checks for containerized workloads.
- Collaborate with data scientists and platform engineers to secure model training, inference, and deployment stages.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing for AI services.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, incident response playbooks, and audit reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud and AI/ML environments.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS services (EKS, S3, IAM, GuardDuty), and Kubernetes security best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, container security, and automated compliance tools.
- Strong understanding of threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
