ML Engineer
Lead the design and training of scalable, multimodal AI systems for biomedical data, leveraging Python, PyTorch, and cloud infrastructure to drive discovery across complex scientific domains.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for multimodal biomedical data, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to translate scientific questions into model architectures and evaluation metrics.
- Optimize models for performance and inference efficiency on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in reproducible research.
- Stay current with advances in deep learning, probabilistic modeling, and bioinformatics to continuously improve system capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production‑grade ML systems in Python.
- Deep expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow, including custom layer development and distributed training.
- Strong background in data engineering, feature engineering, and handling large, noisy datasets.
- Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing or presenting research in biomedical AI.
