Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of AI governance frameworks for a large defense‑grade enterprise AI platform, ensuring risk mitigation, compliance, and responsible use of generative AI and LLM technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce AI governance policies, risk assessment procedures, and compliance standards across the organization’s enterprise AI ecosystem.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring for generative AI copilots, LLM‑powered applications, and other AI services.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and security teams to embed ethical, privacy, and security controls into AI development lifecycles.
- Conduct regular audits, impact assessments, and incident response planning for AI‑driven systems.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on AI best practices, policy updates, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of AI governance, risk management frameworks, and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO, DoD guidelines).
- Hands‑on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and enterprise AI deployments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
