About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize vision‑language models (VLM/VLA) for perception and decision‑making in autonomous vehicles.
- Develop and maintain autoregressive model pipelines that operate in closed‑loop simulation and real‑world testing environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate computer‑vision algorithms into the vehicle stack, ensuring real‑time performance and safety compliance.
- Build robust evaluation frameworks for closed‑loop testing, analyzing model behavior and iterating on improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to research publications or internal technical reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on computer vision and deep learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or TensorFlow) for building large‑scale vision‑language models.
- Hands‑on experience with autonomous driving perception stacks, sensor fusion, and closed‑loop evaluation.
- Proven track record of delivering production‑grade AI solutions in safety‑critical environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team.
