AI Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions for building‑material distribution, leveraging Python, deep learning frameworks, and AWS to deliver scalable, high‑impact models that drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end AI pipelines for product recommendation, demand forecasting, and supply‑chain optimization.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to translate business problems into ML models using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Deploy models to AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor model performance, conduct A/B testing, and iterate to improve accuracy and ROI.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data science, version control, and CI/CD.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production‑grade ML solutions in a commercial setting.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud‑native ML tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and AWS ML services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines.
