Lead the design and development of closed‑loop evaluation frameworks for autonomous driving models, leveraging reinforcement learning, reward modeling, and policy distillation to enhance safety, quality, and generalization in simulation environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a closed‑loop evaluation framework for Driving VLA, World Model, and Planning modules.
- Build pipelines for log replay, scenario‑based simulation, regression testing, and safety‑critical case mining.
- Apply reinforcement learning, offline RL, reward modeling, and policy distillation to improve driving policies.
- Conduct simulation rollouts, analyze results, and iterate on model improvements.
- Collaborate with data, safety, and software teams to ensure robust, generalizable solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Proven expertise in reinforcement learning, reward design, and policy distillation.
- Hands‑on knowledge of closed‑loop simulation and safety‑critical evaluation for autonomous driving.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate failure cases into actionable model updates.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast‑paced research environment.
