AI Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced LLM‑powered services, building robust Python APIs with FastAPI while leveraging AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development and optimize workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable APIs in Python using FastAPI to expose LLM capabilities to internal and external clients.
- Design and iterate prompt strategies for large language models, ensuring high‑quality, context‑aware responses.
- Integrate AI‑assisted and autonomous coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) into the development pipeline to automate refactoring, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and model solutions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and tune model performance, addressing bias, latency, and reliability concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional Python development experience, with strong API design skills.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience building and experimenting with large language models.
- Proficiency in FastAPI, prompt engineering, and modern AI‑assisted coding workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for continuous learning in AI and software engineering.
