About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own a model domain from problem definition through validated, production‑deployed solutions within the AI Research organization.
- Design, implement, and iterate deep learning pipelines for medical imaging, ensuring high accuracy and clinical relevance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate clinical needs into technical specifications and performance metrics.
- Deploy models to scalable cloud environments, optimizing for latency, throughput, and cost.
- Document methodologies, conduct peer reviews, and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of applied AI research.
- Proven experience in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and computer vision for medical imaging.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Track record of publishing or patenting AI solutions in healthcare.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior scientists.
