AI Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of agentic AI systems for clinical research, leveraging Python, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and AWS to accelerate biopharma drug development.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement agentic AI solutions that autonomously interact with clinical data pipelines and research workflows.
- Develop and train reinforcement learning models to optimize trial design, patient recruitment, and resource allocation.
- Integrate NLP models for automated literature review, adverse event detection, and protocol compliance monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and product teams to translate research needs into scalable AI features.
- Deploy models to AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain best practices in AI engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on agentic or reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and NLP libraries.
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models on AWS (SageMaker, ECS, Lambda).
- Strong understanding of clinical research processes and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
