Software Engineer
Senior Endpoint Management Engineer responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting the BigFix platform across Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, handling patching, software deployments, automation tasks, and issue resolution.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the HCL BigFix platform to ensure continuous endpoint compliance and availability.
- Execute patch management and software deployment cycles for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot endpoint issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate escalations for complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement endpoint security policies and standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with BigFix or similar endpoint management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and their patching mechanisms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- Experience with software distribution, inventory management, and compliance reporting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced support environment.
