About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for risk assessment and pricing using Python and deep learning frameworks.
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to translate domain expertise into data-driven solutions and validate model outputs against industry standards.
- Implement scalable data pipelines and feature engineering workflows on AWS, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Conduct statistical analysis, model validation, and performance monitoring to support regulatory reporting and business decisions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and share best practices in model governance and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in actuarial science, risk modeling, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, SageMaker, Redshift).
- Strong statistical background and familiarity with actuarial tools (e.g., R, SAS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex models into business insights.
