About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full acquisition lifecycle for complex ground‑based systems, from concept through sustainment.
- Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability to mission objectives and compliance with NRO standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to draft, negotiate, and administer contracts and task orders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks, implementing mitigation plans and reporting status to senior leadership.
- Provide acquisition strategy guidance, cost estimates, and schedule baselines to support decision‑making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in DoD acquisition, systems engineering, or program management, with a focus on large‑scale intelligence community programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, contract formulation, and risk management.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph or ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
