About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies for EMSS hardware and software, aligning with mission objectives and budget constraints.
- Analyze sensor data, perform signal processing and data fusion to assess system performance and inform procurement decisions.
- Apply machine learning models to predict lifecycle costs, risk, and schedule impacts for candidate technologies.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships while maintaining required security clearance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, AI/ML, and program management—to ensure seamless integration of new capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in acquisition, contract management, or cost analysis for defense or aerospace programs.
- Proficiency in Python and data‑analysis tools; strong understanding of signal processing, data fusion, and machine learning concepts.
- Active Secret or higher security clearance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
