Experienced Security Systems Field Engineer leading programming, installation, and troubleshooting of Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion systems while providing technical mentorship and ensuring project quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the programming, installation, and commissioning of Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion security systems according to manufacturer guidelines and engineered drawings.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis on field issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Act as a technical mentor and subject‑matter expert, guiding junior engineers and field technicians.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout all phases of work.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering professional service, clear communication, and post‑installation support.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with security system technologies such as Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion detection.
- Proven ability to program, configure, and integrate multiple security platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex field issues.
- Excellent communication and mentorship abilities, capable of leading technical teams.
- Relevant certifications or training in security systems installation and programming preferred.
