Security Operations Center Engineer responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining secure software solutions, conducting code reviews, and implementing test strategies to ensure system stability and robust incident response within a dynamic, Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Document and elicit business requirements, translating them into technical design specifications.
- Lead design discussions, capturing decisions to guide development teams.
- Write, integrate, and test new features in Java and Python, ensuring high code quality and system stability.
- Perform code reviews, manage Git repositories, and enforce coding standards.
- Develop and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement SIEM solutions and incident response procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java/Python development and Git workflow.
- Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and SIEM tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
