Key Responsibilities
- Own the hardware security practice, shaping security strategy for custom silicon, firmware, and platform technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performance team of security engineers focused on hardware and firmware security.
- Collaborate closely with AWS hardware engineering and platform teams to embed security into roadmaps and product lifecycles.
- Define and enforce security standards, threat models, and secure design reviews for all AWS hardware products.
- Drive continuous improvement of security tooling, processes, and incident response for hardware platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering with a strong focus on hardware, firmware, and platform security.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, custom silicon design, and secure firmware development.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a fast‑paced, cloud‑centric environment.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with secure design reviews, threat modeling, and security tooling for hardware products.
