Security Engineering Manager
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Classification: Exempt
Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Director, Information Security
Purpose
The Security Engineering Manager is responsible for the configuration, optimization, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's security technologies. This role serves as the technical owner for security tools and platforms, ensuring they operate effectively to protect enterprise systems, data, and users from cyber threats.
The Security Engineering Manager partners closely with Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Software Development to implement security controls, enhance detection capabilities, automate security processes, and support incident response activities.
This role does not currently have direct reports but is expected to evolve into a people leadership role as the Security Engineering function grows, with responsibility for building, mentoring, and managing team members over time.
