About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end security controls for phased‑array ground station networks and satellite communication systems.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design reviews across cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Drive DevSecOps practices, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance frameworks, and incident response plans for mission‑critical operations.
- Mentor and coach security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and security awareness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and network security.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure architecture principles.
- Proficiency in threat modeling, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps tooling (CI/CD, container security, IaC security).
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across teams.
